With the San Diego Comic-Con and D23 fast approaching, it surely won't be too much longer until we get a long-overdue slate update from Marvel Studios.
Some changes are bound to have been made following a return to quality over quantity and there are still big gaps in the Multiverse Saga which need to be filled (before, between, and hopefully after the next Avengers movies).
It's looking like Young Avengers will be one of those projects and, according to scooper @MyTimeToShineH, that will be led by Hailee Steinfeld's Kate Bishop/Hawkeye and Iman Vellani's Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel. The Marvels' post-credits scene set the stage for them to take charge of the team, so we're not exactly shocked.
As for who will join them, your guess is as good as ours...there are plenty of potential candidates, though.
Next up is Spider-Man 4. Earlier today, we told you that Venom is expected to play a minor role in the movie. We're taking this with a pinch of salt for now, but there are rumblings on social media spelling out the specific role the Symbiote will play in Sony's Spider-Man: No Way Home follow-up.
Apparently, The Shocker (Bokeem Woodbine) and The Scorpion (Michael Mando) will be two of The Kingpin's pawns in the movie, with the latter bonding with the Venom Symbiote just like he did in the comics.
It appears Marvel Studios will skip Eddie Brock - though he has technically appeared in the MCU thanks to Venom: Let There Be Carnage and No Way Home's post-credits scenes - and go straight to Mac Gargan. However, after Peter Parker dies (this particular plot point has been hinted at by at least a couple of reliable sources), the suit will bond with him, giving us the black suit Spidey we've been waiting for.
Finally, we go back to @MyTimeToShineH who says that Marisa Tomei will return as Aunt May in Spider-Man 4. How? "Wait and see," the prominent leaker teases.
Alongside Tom Holland, Zendaya is expected to reprise her role as MJ in Spider-Man 4. Sydney Sweeny is rumoured to be playing Black Cat, and we're expecting Charlie Cox, Vincent D'Onofrio, and Paul Rudd to appear as Daredevil, The Kingpin, and Ant-Man. Like most of the details we have about this one, none of that has been confirmed.
Spider-Man 4 also doesn't have a director, though plenty of names are floating around out there. Among them are Justin Lin, Drew Goddard, and Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah.
