Spider-Man/Daredevil VS Kingpin: Sinister Six Fancast

The Sinister Six cast that should go against the wall crawler and the man without fear.

If you read my last article, you'll know that I think Daredevil and Spidey should happen. Here is the cast I think they should go against.

0.Kingpin: Vincent D'Onofrio

This is obvious, but worth mentioning. This entire pitch hinges on the Kingpin. D'Onofrio was fantastic in the role, and would easily carry his weight (no pun intended) in a film. Chances are, if Cox has a film appearance in his contract, he could well also.

1.Scorpion: Nathan Fillion

I think Mac Gargan is a necessary member of the team. Scorpion is a long time foe of Spider-Man and he's pretty easy to portray on screen. It is someone we haven't seen before, he's a many time member of the Sinister Six, and he's a fine street level addition to the team. His quick to anger attitude helps make up the group dynamic as well, I believe, and I think it would work well with him in the films.

I should say that I am a fan of unknowns. There are plenty of actors that I am not familiar with that could do a fine job with any of these characters, but Nathan Fillion would be a great choice. When he was asked, given any Marvel character, who he would portray, he chose Scorpion. Not a hero, he chose a second rate villain, and someone with that kind of dedication I believe could bring a great job to the role. Fillion's fans wouldn't hurt the lesser known character, either.

2.Mysterio: Bruce Campbell

Let's be honest, we've waited long enough. It's high time we got Mysterio on the big screen. Back in Raimi's day, plans were for Campbell to portray him, but we all know how that story ends. Since Sony still has a hand in this, I think that having Bruce play him would not be out of the question, and I think he would do the character great justice. This would be another fresh villain that wouldn't cause fatigue, and he could make a movie really interesting with his powers. Having him on the team would be too good to pass up.

3.Chameleon: Christoph Waltz (?)

I will be honest, I wasn't sure who to cast with this, and if there is a possibility for Red Skull to return, I would like to see Waltz take a crack at that, but barring that possibility, I think he could make a decent Chameleon. Mostly, I think Chameleon would be a very interesting foe to see on screen, just like Mysterio, especially now that Spidey and Marvel share a universe. The possibilities there are too good to pass up on.

4.Shocker: Jon Bernthal

This is a villain I'm surprised we haven't seen yet. Shocker is simple, street level, and someone that highlights young Spidey's affinity for humiliating his enemies. I would wager that Shocker will be one of the villains in the first movie because of how easy he is to portray. His gauntlets can be tech based and linked to Iron Man. With the rumor of Iron Man making an appearance, that could be a link. I've seen people mention everyone from Jason Statham to Liam Neeson to play Herman Schultz, but I recommend Jon Bernthal because of how well he is able to portray a character with desparation. Bernthal has stage presence, he can own the role, and would be another fun personality to toss into the team dynamic. This is an easy get for Kingpin as well, seeing as he is a lackey and would want revenge for being humiliated.

5.Kraven the Hunter: Pedro Pascal

Kraven would be an amazing villain to see on screen. The Hunter going after Spidey and his spider sense would be a fun ride for viewers, and it's something we have been waiting for for a long time. It would also be interesting to see him go against Daredevil and his heightened senses in the team-up. While I see many people vote for Gerard Butler, and I would have no issue with that, I have personally cast Pedro Pascal as Kraven. I think he would make for a very interesting Kraven, and just remember the fight against The Mountain in Game of Thrones has me excited for the prospect.

6.Doctor Octopus: Jared Harris

I know Doc Ock has been seen, but it has been over a decade and he would be a great leader for the Sinister 6. I think Jared Harris would be a great choice to play him, after his brilliant Moriarty in A Game of Shadows. Honorable mention... Zachary Quinto.

So tell me what you think of my team! Thanks guys!

@RavenTheHunter I was thinking for the 3rd movie, MAYBE 2nd. But probably 3rd. Would be post-Defenders. But yeah I think he would do well!

It's worth noting that my Doc Ock runner up is Zachary Quinto.

Sam Raimi as Mysterio, the director of a failed Spider-Man film that was canned because of the company's interference and rushed production.

Sinister Six:
- Doc Ock is Peter Dinklage
- Vulture is Christoph Waltz
- Kraven is Joe Manganiello
- Mysterio is Matthew Goode
- Electro is Dan Stephens
- Sandman is Adam Baldwin

@Kong I completely agree on Adam Baldwin. I would have fancast him myself but I don't think we'll see him again, at least not anytime soon. I also don't think they'll do Electro again for a while. Joe Manganiello is a choice I saw a lot of peoppe go with for Kraven. I wouldn't hate it, but I sort of feel like he's too tall.

@Kong I disagree on the Vulture thing, not that I don't think Waltz would kill any role he's given, I just feel like it would be a jump from Vulture. Dinklage is honestly someone I considered myself, tbh. And I'm unfamiliar with Goode.
