"Sony said it will start selling in Japan next month two films and two music videos in 3-D, and planned home software of 3-D theater releases, including a 3-D "Spider-Man" opening in 2012."

With James Cameron waiting until the technology is in more homes until he releases Avatar in this 3D format, it's not surprising that Sony are following the trend. However, are you willing to spend extra for these TV's? And will they really be able to advance things enough to lose those annoying glasses? Share your thoughts in the usual place!

The currently untitled Spider-Man reboot is set to swing it's way into cinemas on July 3, 2012 in 3D.
