It's been a very busy week for news here on ComicBookMovie.com, and while there are pretty much no new releases coming out in 2020, we've still seen a lot of big movie and TV show updates shared by Marvel, DC Entertainment, and more. In fact, it's felt like business as usual in Hollywood!
So, regardless of whether you've been glued to CBM all week or have fallen behind on what's been happening in the world of pop culture, we have you covered with this recap of the biggest stories.
There's a lot of good stuff to delve into here, and we've got fans of pretty much everything covered! Whether it's a huge update on Godzilla vs. Kong's release, Fantastic Beasts 3 casting, or even a massive Spider-Man 3 rumour (you'll need to see this to believe it), it's been an exciting seven days.

Some newly revealed photos from the set of The Batman have offered a first look at both the exterior of the Batcave and what appears to be Oswald Cobblepot's base of operations (he's certainly not holed up in anything quite as fancy as the Iceberg Lounge at this point in his criminal career.
It's pretty incredible to see just how huge the sets which are being built actually are, though there's every chance that's a result of not being able to shoot on locations due to the pandemic.

Written and directed by Matthew Michael Carnahan, Mosul tells the story of inexperienced Iraqi cop Kawa (Adam Bessa) who is rescued from a harrowing firefight by the elite Nineveh SWAT team. Quickly inducted into the rogue squadron led by the wise Major Jasem (Suhail Dabbach), the unit is under constant threat of attack, but determined to wipe out the remaining ISIS forces in their home.
As you can see above, we recently caught up with Carnahan, Dabbach, and Bessa, and they shared some really fascinating insight into their work on the new Netflix movie.
You can also find our interview with producers Joe and Anthony Russo right here.
Well, that didn't take long!
Following Johnny Depp's firing from the Fantastic Beasts franchise as the villainous Gellert Grindelwald, we soon learned that Doctor Strange star Mads Mikkelsen was at the top of Warner Bros.' wish list. No other names were mentioned, and he's now officially set to star in the Harry Potter prequel.
He'll no doubt be great as the villain, and you can learn more about the casting here.
It appears that the new Predators movie was supposed to be released as a surprise (potentially with us not learning that it revolves around the iconic aliens until we were watching it).
Now, though, we have a better idea of what to expect. Last December, it was reported that Trachtenberg was developing a movie for 20th Century Studios called Skulls which was written by Patrick Aison and set to be produced by longtime Predator franchise producer John Davis.
At the time, it was said that, "'Skulls' will follow a Comanche woman who goes against gender norms and traditions to become a warrior." You can find additional details on the plot here.
We're still not entirely sure who will play Jennifer Walters in She-Hulk after Tatiana Maslany denied being part of the Disney+ series, but Marvel Studios is still on the hunt for its supporting cast.
This week, it was reported that a number of characters - including Jennifer's parents - are being cast, but the one that really intrigued us is someone who sounds like a lead female villain.
Find each of these breakdowns for She-Hulk by heading over to our original report.
Titans has been very hit-and-miss since first debuting on the now defunct DC Universe streaming service, but Anna Diop's Starfire has been consistently entertaining. As we head into season three - which will stream on HBO Max - the alien hero is finally getting her own superhero costume.
Concept artist Gina DeDomenico and costume designer Laura Jean Shannon spent a couple of weeks teasing us, but this week, we finally got to see the actress suited up, and she look amazing.

In news which definitely came as something of a shock this week, it's been revealed that Legendary is considering offloading the upcoming Godzilla vs. Kong to a streaming service. Netflix have reportedly offered $200 million, though it's sounding like HBO Max is keen to get their hands on it too.
Is the movie bad enough that the studio knows it will bomb in a busy 2021/a year that many people will likely still be reluctant to head to theaters? It's hard to say, but this could be a game-changer.
This is a huge story, and one that you can read all about here.
Rumour has it that Spider-Man 3 is going to be a "Spider-Verse" movie of some sort, though that's far from confirmed (and mostly based on that now-deleted Instagram post from Jamie Foxx).
We've heard that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield could be showing up as their respective versions of Peter Parker, but it's now been claimed that we'll see Alfred Molina back as Doctor Octopus.
It's a hard to believe rumour, but one you can check out for yourself in our "Rumor Mill" post.
This week's episode of The Mandalorian finally introduced a live-action version of Ahsoka Tano, and it's fair to say that "The Jedi" definitely did the iconic character from The Clone Wars justice.
We're not going to get into details here, but we did share a spoiler-filled recap on Friday.
Rosario Dawson looks perfect as Ahsoka, and the hope now is that there are future plans for her interpretation of the former Jedi on the big or small screen (the latter seems extremely likely, especially with a female-led spinoff on the way). Take a look at those stills from this episode right here.
Power Rangers may have been a massive disappointment, but Naomi Scott really redeemed herself as Jasmine in Disney's live-action Aladdin movie. Now, it seems she's heading to a Galaxy Far, Far Away.
Lucasfilm is looking for a female co-lead for the Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ TV series starring Ewan McGregor, and Scott is among those being called back (alongside Thuso Mbedu and Anula Navlekar).
