It's been nearly 24 hours since Marvel Television's panel at New York Comic Con, and the Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 trailer still hasn't leaked online. Unfortunately for impatient fans, that likely means no one managed to take a sneaky recording.
We do, however, have some new footage from Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2. In the brief clip, Peter Parker squares off with the villainous Doctor Octopus in a fight that definitely does 2004's Spider-Man 2 proud.
The interesting twist to this clash is that Spidey is wearing the Symbiote, meaning his costume immediately heals itself after taking some nasty-looking hits from Doc Ock.
No one necessarily expected Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man to head down the Venom route this soon, though that looks like the focus of Season 2 before Norman Osborn's inevitable transformation into the Green Goblin likely takes centre stage. We also have Spider-Gwen's Marvel Animation debut to look forward to, though we still don't know who is voicing her.
"Doc [Ock] is definitely one of them [future threats], in my eyes. So just seeing those two collide, I’m really excited for," showrunner Jeff Trammell previously teased. "That's one that I’m really excited for people to see for future seasons, just like seeing those two clash."
"Spider-Man and Doc Ock never crossed paths, at all [in Season 1]," he added. "I think the fact that Doc Ock is such a big fixture of the first season, it’s kind of insane to think about that."
Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man follows Peter Parker on his way to becoming a hero, with a journey unlike we've ever seen and a style that celebrates the character’s early comic book roots.
The talented voice cast includes Hudson Thames, Colman Domingo, Eugene Byrd, Grace Song, Zeno Robinson, Hugh Dancy and Charlie Cox.
The head writer is Jeff Trammell, and Mel Zwyer is the supervising director. Brad Winderbaum, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Dana Vasquez-Eberhardt and Trammell serve as executive producers.
