Spider-Man: Brand New Day Marvel Legends Figures Show Gray (Haired) Hulk; New Look At Scorpion Revealed

Hasbro has unveiled a new wave of Spider-Man: Brand New Day action figures, showcasing the wall-crawler, a gray-haired Hulk, and Mac Gargan fully suited up, helmet and all, as Scorpion.

Hasbro has revealed a first official look at its Spider-Man: Brand New Day action figures, spotlighting the titular web-slinger and Mark Ruffalo's returning Jade Giant. Yes, he's green, but at least his hair is gray.

Some will wonder why the immortal hero is clearly ageing (beyond the fact that Mark Ruffalo has been playing the Avenger since 2012), but it's worth pointing out that one very specific version of The Hulk has gray hair: Maestro.

Could we be one step closer to seeing that villainous version of the character in the MCU? There have been rumours about that being the case somewhere down the line, so stay tuned.

For now, we're getting the Savage Hulk again, and the product description below offers an intriguing clue about his dynamic with Spidey.

"Spider-Man is surprised to see the Hulk again after so much time has passed, and has no idea if Hulk will remember him," it reads. "Will Hulk be a friend or foe?"

There's currently no sign of Marvel Legends figures for characters like The Punisher, Scorpion, and Sadie Sink's Jean Grey (while unconfirmed, that's the prevailing theory right now). We do, however, have a toy aimed at younger fans that showcases Mac Gargan's full armour design.

It's not clear how much screentime the Scorpion's helmet will get in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, but it seems we can expect to see that comic-accurate look in at least a few scenes in the movie.

Take a closer look at these new Spider-Man: Brand New Day action figures below.

Why would Red Hulks hair turn jet black while hulked out but Hulks hair stays grey? I dont think the ppl that make these movies even watch the other mcu movies

@Matchesz - in fairness, one's Red, one's Green, throw Abomination into the mix and he's a weird greeny colour who goes bald when he transforms and sometimes has fish fins on the sides of his head instead of ears, and She-Hulk looks way more human than any of the others... I don't think there's ever been much logic when it comes to Hulking out

@Matchesz - Guess it depends on how they got "hulkified." In the MCU versions:

Banner was hammered with a massive of bombardment of gamma radiation.

Blonsky was injected with samples of Banner's blood, after having already been injected with a variant of the super soldier serum. Sterns warned him that a combination of the two could result in, in his words, an "abomination," thus why he doesn't look like a typical hulk character.

She-Hulk was infused via a few direct drops of Banner's blood into an open wound on her arm.

Ross was slowly infused with gamma in pill form over the course of many years. I assume it wasn't pure gamma, but more likely some kind of gamma compound Sterns had developed, which is why Ross turns red and emits body heat.

The deciding factor in whether or not one keeps their personality and intelligence in hulk form seems to be based on whether or not they were exposed to Banner's blood, or directly exposed to gamma radiation.

Blonsky and Jennifer received Banner's blood into their blood stream, but were not directly exposed to gamma radiation.

Banner and Ross were both directly exposed to gamma radiation, albeit in Ross's case, it was in pill form.

Or -- and this is much more likely the case -- I'm just overthinking it.

@Matchesz - I also don’t like how in all of the MCU movies and shows The Hulk never has green eyes or green hair except TIH with the green eyes. I know it’s nit picky but it always bothered me

FinnFangFoom
FinnFangFoom - 4/25/2026, 7:45 AM
@Fogs - some leaks said that he mutates to the spider-man game looking Scorpion and that Spider-Man mutates too to a Man-Spider even tho they denied that.
allwalledup
allwalledup - 4/26/2026, 1:38 AM
@Fogs - absolutely. The mcu (and especially the people making spider-man movies) have a terrible habit of over designing costumes. Vulture in homecoming got it the worst. I mean that was one of the ugliest cluster[frick]s of a costume I’ve ever seen. I get they wanted to differentiate between him and falcon but there were literally so many other ways that it could have been done better than that giant hunk of shit. Scorpion with the helmet is so close to perfection and then they got this weird tri-tube tail that just looks stupid, meanwhile spider-man himself has never looked so perfect on screen.

Just because Hulk is near immortal and barely ages in the comics doesn't necessarily mean the same is true of the MCU version, bit odd Hulk is going grey though while Rulk's hair turned black when he transformed, but then again one's green and one's red so colour is clearly all over the place when it comes to Hulks anyway

Scorpion looks much better with that mask and that Spidey suit is peak Spider Man. ML did a good job with these figures but they have to bring those prices down

I like my Hulk mean and green not gray so I’m fine with him not changing color (not a fan of RuffoHulk though).

Okay, glad Scorpion has the helmet, thought they were just going with the tail.

“Will Hulk remember him” makes me think they’re gonna do the Immortal Hulk thing where even though Banner doesn’t remember his identity, Hulk somehow still does.

These people really have no idea what to do with Hulk. And there’s so much potential to mine there from the comics, grey Hulk, Peter David’s Professor Hulk, World War Hulk, Planet Hulk, Maestro! What a waste of such a great character.

They had a PERFECT Scorpion tail right there. Add on to it, modify it, whatever. But this would be a great continuity easter-egg and looks perfect.
