Batman and Spider-man may be opposites, but they share the same place in their separate universes.

Captain America and Superman are the respective moral compass of each of their groups, but Spider-man and Batman are the heart and soul.

Marvel doesn't need Spider Man... but if they did have him and all of the characters that share in his universe... boy oh boy that would be cinematic magic. Picture Marvel Studios being able to cut a deal with Fox and Sony in that X-Men, Fantastic Four and Spiderman universe characters can be used in Marvel Studios produced films (Yes I know, wishful thinking). But one of my biggest criticisms with Marvel Studios has been their plan to focus on 4 heros over the past 6 years when there are hundreds of top tier heros and villains on the Marvel roster. Instead of making trilogy solo movies where one character is trying to find himself, Marvel could make movies with collaborative supportive characters and one central main character like Cap 2. Again, wishful thinking.

The Spiderman franchise needs Marvel rather than vice versa

Agree with @DrStrange …

Spiderman needs Marvel way more than Marvel needs Spiderman… Which is the reason why I don't get why Sony is too stupid to hop on board the Marvel express and let them bring Spiderman back to a Billion dollar Franchise.
and judging from the Sony Hacks, Sony is just spitballing ideas and not sure how to use most of their properties.

Marvel doesn't need Spider-man. They just want him back very badly. It's like having 4 kids and giving one up for adoption because you don't have the funds to keep your lights turn on and food on the table. Even after you get financially situated you don't need that forth child back but you want want them back because s/he is your child.

Do Marvel need Spidey? No.

Does fans want Spidey to be at Marvel? Yes.

Do Sony want to share with Marvel? No.

Does executives at Marvel to be looking for a way around that? Probably.

Do Marvel make Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch Inhumans instead of mutants? Oh yeah.

Does creators at Marvel will to be finding way to make Spider-Man Inhuman as well? I bet they might.

Do I screw up my grammar well enough to be understood here?

Sony would be dumb not to do this. Not only would they make money from his appearence in the MCU but they would make more money from the solo flicks because he's in the freakin MCU!

@DrStrange They need each other very badly. Sony is basically AIDS and can't be treated. In an ideal world, Marvel should have helmed Spider-Man back in 2001, but hindsight is always 20/20. One can only hope that they will sit down many times and negotiate till they work something out. Spidey needs to be in Civil War. He is an influential character.
