I figured anyone who does not watch "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" probably did not see this or hear of this like myself. This video interview is from late September of this year, and Andrew Garfield talks about being the new Spider-Man with Jimmy Fallon.

Pretty funny, eh? Notice no one really clapped for him, probably because everyone is not really feeling a brand new Spider-Man. Sad really...

He was great in The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus and The Social Network (for which he'll get an Oscar nomination, but Bale will win), and he seems very passionate and knowledgeable about the character - a lot more than many other superhero actors are before taking the part. I am confident that he will be a better Spidey than Tobey was.

"isn't it great that brits get all the lead male roles."

well, except...

Iron Man ... American
Green Lantern ... American
Captain America ... American
Hulk ... 2 American, 1 Australian
Hawkeye ... American
Nick Fury ... American
Spiderman ... lest we forget Toby Maguire (American)
Batman ... lest we forget Michael Keaton (American)
Thor ... Australian
Wolverine ... Australian

Just saying, brosef.

I don't like him already. Most likely because he's not Tobey Maguire, and no one else has ever played a better Geek-all-a-sudden-hero than Tobey and Reeve. As for you British people, i could care less what roles you receive, your women are the only ones i pay attention to.
