Last week TV Guide announced they were releasing four DC themed covers for their Comic-Con special. You can see them, and read about it here on CBM.

The announcement also included a statement about an exclusive Supergirl comic strip created for DC Comics, featuring an all-new story written by the TV series’ executive producers, Greg Berlanti, Ali Adler and Andrew Kresiberg, with artwork by Alejandro Germánico. Now it seems that a preview of the strip has showed up online at supergirl.tv, and for those who haven’t seen the pilot episode yet it contains Mild Spoilers .

There's has been no word if this will become a fulltime comic companion for the show similar to the ones for Arrow and Flash. It’s also still unclear if the CBS series starring Melissa Benoist will share a universe with the CW shows. It does seem that Greg Berlanti, and his teams are following the same formula that brought them success with Arrow and Flash.  Well check out the preview below and let me know what you think.

****Mild Spoilers****

Titled “Sister Act” the comic strip appears to center around Kara and her relationship with her foster sister Alex whose role as an agent for a secret goverment agency is a reveal in the pilot.

The only good thing about the pilot episode was Melissa as Supergirl which is promising for the show, but they need to fix other characters around her and improve the storytelling.

The comic above is actually good. That said I'm pretty sure this show is gonna suck shit because the writers of Arrow and Flash do horribly when writing woman characters.

Hair needs to be dyed more blonde. It's an easy fix...so fix it CBS.

Having seen the pilot, I would compare this show to the JLA live action pilot tv show. But honestly, it's not even that good. It's easily on equal footing with Batman and Robin, Catwoman and Green Lantern. Possibly worse than all of them.

Terrible, atrocious writing. Horrible acting. I wouldn't even give this .5/10.

Thank god for the Gorgeous and equally talented Chyler Leigh. She makes this show and the Supergirl character that much more fun.

Question...how many people here write for TV, and or films? Or, write anything, besides on the internet. Cause it seems a lot of you know what your talking about.
