Well!!! Looks like Tom Welling Wins.... Look!!! Routh looked good in the suit, but thats all. You could list everything he said in the hole movie on #1 piece of paper. Henry Cavill and Jon Hamm? NO!NO!NO!

I'm not saying that this is my personal choice, but just a possibility I felt like throwing out there, you guys think Sam Worthington could be Superman-he's got the build and charisma and is the right age, perhaps if he grows out his hair from his usual buzz cuts and loses the Australian accent.

now before y'all excommunicate me or anything lets look at the facts:
this actor is the 32. just 2 years older than Routh (I'm talking to you LEEE!)
while i did like Routh in the role as Superman and would want him back because he did NAIL the role.....
i realize that in a reboot everything is changed. the story, the plot, the cast, and the crew.

now has anyone here seen the TV show Chuck? or how about White Collar? Bomer has performed above par especially on White Collar. (at least that is what i keep on hearing.)

but what sold me on this decision was this pic:


he has a determined look in his eye, he is built for the role, and i believe he has the actin chops to pull it off.
i only have one problem:
his height.
he comes in at a whopping 5 11 1/2in.
that's 4 1/2in too short.
but maybe with movie magic that can be remedied.

Wadey09 - Never heard of the dude. I'm sure that showing that the guy keeps himself in shape is a good may to help promote him as a good choice, but please no more shirtless pics. It sounds like he may be a little too short for the part, but that is not as important as my next question. Can he act? Can he be the lead in such a major blockbuster? That is my major concern when casting any superhero movie.

we need a superman and not a superboy so the solutions are two JAMES CAVIEZEL AND Jared Padalecki, so stop suggesting all these boys and putting pictures without blouses(think of what will happen when we have rumors for a supergirl movie).Brandon Routh was not bad as superman but if the movie is going to be a reboot i think that someone else should take the role.
