Promoting next week's release of
Immortals, the star of Zack Snyder's long-awaited 'Superman' reboot,
Man Of Steel, actor Henry Cavill chatted with
Access Hollywood. Essentially dishing on how he got ripped for both films, Cavill also addressed recent
Man Of Steel set photos depicting the actor shirtless, and that we shouldn't expect much of
that in the film. Check out what he says below.
"That's only once sequence, a small sequence in the movie. It's just people like to take a lot of photographs of it when they get the opportunity," he explained. "It's an essential thing for something like Superman. You've got to prove to everyone that it's a super man, it's not all fake, not all smoke and mirrors." According to Henry, his caped hero has more abs than the average comic book character. “It’s an eight pack!” he said of his ripped mid-section.
Man Of Steel, under Zack Snyder's direction, stars Henry Cavill (Clark Kent), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Diane Lane (Martha Kent), Kevin Costner (Jonathan Kent), Michael Shannon (General Zod), Antje Traue (Faora), Julia Ormond (Lara Lor-Van), Russell Crowe (Jor-El), Harry Lennix (General Swanwick), with Christopher Meloni (Colonel Hardy) and Laurence Fishburne (Perry White). And while solid story details are currently being kept underwraps, the reboot releases on June 14, 2013!
