"It's a story and as an actor, you're going to find that in a story, there's lots of emotions. It's a story first and there is an emotional being at the center of the film first, Superman just happens to have these incredible abilities. It's not about 'How did you balance [action and emotion]', you don't balance the two. You need them both and this is what makes this movie different. It's not just 'Yeah, ok. Superhero, whatever. Wow that's cool, save me superhero.' It's 'Oh, wait a second, there's an alien, here! There's an alien here for thirty-three years, and you can't hurt him. I don't know how I feel about this.' But then you have to ask how Superman feels about people saying that about him."

@kunyahk God or not, Jesus is a historical person. It's a fact. Just something you should keep in mind next time you try to look smart and funny.

and yeah, Jesus is a factual person so the whole mythological superhero comment is kind of inebriation humor.

@Natey- the reason he gets compared to myths is because people keep on giving him super powers, like teaching fisherman from 4 BC to write. Or making sandwiches really well.

1st century historian writings from Tacitus and Josephus prove that Jesus, son of Joseph, was in fact a real person.

Of course Jesus is real, a 2000-year-old book written by people who knew nothing of science can't lie to us, innit?

I appreciate those pointing out Jesus was at least a factual person in history. I get that Christianity is often slammed by a vast majority of folks, but denying his existence at all is kind of ignorant.

Oh, 33. So he's not gonna be a hero for msot of his life. Fun... Cause it's boring to have him start young...

@NotU There is no debate on whether or not Jesus was real. He was undoubtedly a living person who was born 2013 years ago. What is up for debate is whether or not he is the son of God.

Anyway, can't wait for this. Gonna (hopefully) be my favorite superhero movie ever.

If any of you paid attention during history in high school, you would know that your history books and documentaries supported the existence of Christ.
inkslinger616

jesus Christ is actually an amalgamation of 30 to 40 different deities that all came together to form the modern christian belief system, so No in fact there is no evidence that suggest Jesus Christ was a real person, at least not the one ya'll read about in the Bible that man is a fictional character. And if you start bringing up the shroud of turin it has been proven to be a centuries old fraud....
