Following AskMen's "Great Male Survey 2011", which saw the majority of 70,000 men choose Superman, I asked who you would pick out of the Man of Steel, Batman, Wolverine, Iron Man and Spider-Man, and here are the results...

In AskMen's poll, Superman won the majority of votes with 34%, Batman and Iron Man were tied at 20% with Wolverine following closely behind on 19% and poor 'ol Spider-Man way back at a measly 7%. When I included the poll in the article with this news (which you can find HERE) I wasn't quite expecting over 2000 of you to cast your vote! As you can see, the results differ a little to their version, but the Man of Steel STILL managed to come out on top!

but on the topic, Superman is over rated. I'd rather be Batman or Spidey or someone who can actually die, not by some green rock either, but by actual occurences.

Well who WOULDN'T choose Superman. He's ridiculously overpowered, so you'd be able to do almost anything you could ever want. Actually BEING him would be the only thing that could make him an interesting character.

but I guess Iron Man would have to be my second choice. :) Billionaire AND he doesn't have parent issues like the bats. or at least he wasn't disturbed for the rest of his life by seeing his parents shot in front of him when he was a kid.... Plus Tony doesn't mind being around the ladies if ya know what i mean... ;)

I personally think while Batman is the "coolest persona" out there, I would like to be immortal and strong, in addition to being really powerful, so I could understand why Superman was chosen, he's the ideal 'everyman' while Wolverine I think would be amazing too, because he as well can stand the test of time through the ages!

superman - orphan and alien, alone on the planet
Batman - orphan, but rich, and mental issues makes him alone, with the exception of 10 year old boys in tights
Iron Man - orphaned late enough in his life for him to have daddy issues, womanizer, alcoholic
Wolverine - been alive for over a hundred years, has watched several lovers die, and others grow old, orphaned himself by killing his biological father, then running away and changing his name.
Sipder-Man - Orphan, poor, and is the dumbest smart kid ever(kids a scientific genius, yet cant get a decent job?), inadvertantly killed one girlfriend, then ade a deal with a demon to unmarry his smoking hot supermodel actress wife.

I don't understand the desire to be either Tony stark Or Bruce wayne, not when you can choose Spidey, Supes or Logan over both of them, play your cards right and be just as rich.

It's true, SuperGuy. People are thinking sooooo "inside the box" on this question that it's ridiculous. If you're Superman, YOU DON'T NEED MONEY! Or food! All you need is the Sun and you can do anything. Any dude that doesn't pick Superman is the same type of dude that would settle for the ugly chick with the nice personality instead of waiting it out for hot chick with a great personality. SETTLERS!
