It looks nice. reminds me of the Kon-El Superboy for some reason. I like how its an updated version of the classic Smallville Outfit that Clark used to wear before season 9: the red jacket and blue t-shirt. very nice updated to that look and I'm glad they decided to go that route.

Personally, I don't think it really suits him. I prefer the old costume, because it gave him a bit of a larger than life feel. This just makes him sort of look like a greaser. I dunno, maybe it will grow on me.

I definitely appreciate the fact that they're trying to evolve things, but I think that jacket needs a little blue in it. Maybe a blue "S"?

I've not watched the episode yet (but I will later today) but I like this. If nothing else, it's a step in the right direction, and much better than that damned black trenchcoat and t-shirt! :P Thanks for the pics ED!

If he wears the costume at all (which I think WILL happen), I don't think it's going to be until the last episode. The feeling seems to me that Clark Kent becoming Superman is the end goal of the series, so they won't allow him to do so until the last episode.

Still, I think they could have done better than this red jacket. Like I said, Blue "S" and blue shoulders may have made a difference.

Good find Ed. I'm glad someone gave it some recognition.

I think it would look better with Yellow than blue. Maybe make the middle of the "S" yellow, and those shoulder things blue.

I like the costume. It shows that he is evolving as a character and going from being hidden in the shadows with the black trench coat to being in the light of day and becoming the symbol for justice we all know him to be.

I like it.

Prefer this over the plain red jacket and blue shirt or the all black outfit.

If his not going to don the cape yet, I'd rather see this.

Like I commented before, I think it's less about the "uniform" and more about him stepping out of the shadows. Which by the way this particular episode's underlying theme was about.

The black suit didn't give off any inspiration of hope; which superman is all about. The cape and tights do, but until he puts them on - I think this comes a bit closer then what he was wearing before.

In the end, I'm not part of the shows design team. So i figure just suck it up and enjoy the last season. Whats left after it?

The spray painted "S" and trench coat made "home made" sense. The red leather jacket made by the same manufacturer Ollie uses also makes sense, I guess, but I don't care much for it. He should have told Jor El to [frick] off and smashed the shit outta the glass case @FOS and took the suit his Mom "made" for him.

The producers told us to expect another transition suit before he puts on the real suit, but I wasn't expecting this. UGH! I'm sure there are plenty of people that would want this, so I'm sure WB/DC/Smallville will market it. It doesn't suit my style and I don't think it suits Clarks, either. Oh, well. It is what it is.

Hopefully they'll give him the real suit during sweeps.

That is the dumbest thing I've ever seen. They have been milking this Clark-can't-fly-and-hasn't-gotten-his suit-yet thang for far too long. It's the last season. Give him his suit already. Geesh.

It looks CORNY, but that's just me Im sure some people probally loved it. I see we keep getting these watered down version of great SUPER HERO\VILLIAN TEAMS. It sounds better than it actually looks like on screen. It's cool to say DOOMSDAY,JLA,or JSA is going to appear on SMALLVILLE until you actually see it. Hey it beats nothing I just wish things were done better and closer not exact(exact would be GREAT ) to the source material. Sometimes their sooo far off into left field I dont even recoginze the character. jUST PUT THE DANG SUIT on and FLY before the last 10mins of the season's final show!!

What happened to Smallville? I wish the show would stop trying to compllicate everything and just simplfy itself, they way it was when they show began. This suyit shows that the current TPTB are trying to hard to keep Clark from being Superman...
