Follow up... Smallville Going Cheap?

Why "Smallville" hasn't made any original promos.

Three months ago I wrote an article called “Smallville Going Cheap” on the reusing of old promo photos in new promo photos and the disbanding of the Smallville Magazine which it is no longer in print. I figured three reasons both involving the less spending of money. The first one: "Smallville" is blowing all their money on the show trying to make the best they can before the show's final season or budget cuts. This was based on the everything that was happening then. Three months later it has proven that one of my crackpot theories is half right seeing how the talk of a season 10 is on its way. "Smallville" did not spend any money on new promo photos or episode promo pictures. It has only used cropped screen caps this season resulting in saving them money and putting it toward the two hour movie “Absolute Justice” for props, costumes, and actors the entire. So you know it’ll be good and it's breaking a whole lot of boundaries in the DC world.

I think you hit the nail right on its head with this. I am looking forward to Absolute Justice. Smallville don't fail us.

@ hawkngo......
Dude, I don't usually get on uber-sensitive kicks like this, but take a closer look at that kids eyes before you use him as a joke. He clearly has downs syndrome, which also explains his child-like nature with the superhero paraphernalia. I'm not judging you, bro. I would've made fun of something like this too - but my 4-year-old has autism, and so I have spent alot of time recently around special needs children. I'm sure this type of response and debate has no place here at CBM, but I just wanted to help you see the error of your ways before you really hurt somebody's feelings. I hope there's no bad blood between us, considering I am a huge Superman nerd and you appear to be one as well.
Very Respectfully,
MrYetti
