wow if you guys hate this show so bad, then explain to me why you guys keep watching. either quit watching or quit bitching. name one recent superman show/film that has done better then this show. o wait you can't cuz they have all sucked. so again if you can't stand to see news about the show then maybe you should just stay away from the superman updates and your lives will be so much better

I was a pretty big Smallville-fanboy for seasons 1-5, not so much for seasons 6-10 (seems waaay too cluttered with characters) but at the same time, I do appreciate Smallville for being so damn successful in staying on the air for so long and keeping Superman relevent in the media. Especially what with the upcoming GL movie...my friend who is a hardcore GL-fan, while I"m the hardcore Supes-fan...Smallville only re-enforces Superman's relevance. I hope that by the last episode we can get Clark in the suit though...that'd be awesome though I doubt it.

anyone else think that the sacrifice made referring to the title could be chloe's life?
good thing for chloe haters, though i personally like her :D!
the part about oliver vs. zod sounds pretty interesting.

Yeah and it's pretty sad that the people who say the show sucks now really have no legitimate reason to say so. Seasons 5-9 have only gotten better and better. 1-4 were basically teen dramas. With the introduction of the Fortress, the Superman storyline began to develop so much more. They probably don't like it because of Clark's whole "Punisher" look. but Superman didn't just go to saving the world like that. He needs trials and tests and that's what Smallville's about. It does not suck nor has it screwed up Superman mythology. It is its own storyline. there are multiple story lines within the comics so who's to say which one is correct? Smallville has always done superman justice.

I hope this isn't a low budget episode with Chloe and Tess stuck in the tower for 45 minutes.
