Smallville TV Movie

According to EW's Michael Ausiello, the two-part Justice Society episode of Smallville is going to be broadcast as a TV movie event scheduled for January 29th.

Says Ausiello, "The Geoff Johns-penned episodes — titled “Society” and “Legends” and featuring such DC Comics stalwarts as Stargirl, Hawkman, and Dr. Fate — were originally designed to air separately. But, according to Smallville insiders, CW execs felt they could get more mileage out of combining them.
I tend do agree. Do you? Sound off in the comments!"

Ed, looks like you beat me to the scoop. I just posted an article from CW Insider about this. I think it'll be a great movie. I hate waiting a whole week for the 2nd episode of a two-parter!

They should have a cameo from Bruce Wayne.

Yeah Mike that would be cool but we all know it'll never happen considering Smallville was originally supposed to have been about a young Bruce Wayne but they switched as not to interfere with the then in development Batman Begins. For that, there's a strong "no touch" policy on the Batman.

According to Ausiello, he's going to have a "super" announcement later today. Probably just a tease to get buzz going, but I wonder.....

Speaking of which...I STILL think that The Question would be a PERFECT character to use as a cameo on Smallville...all the mystery crap they do on that show? He would be a natural.

A TV movie, with cameos from superheroes that we haven't seen on screen yet, in some sad attempt to boost ratings? What next, 3D? Enough with the gimmicks, and novelties!! Give us some decent writing, directing, and acting. The show's going downhill anyway, why not go out with a bang?

but that's just me....

Yes to the Question. This brings back memories of the old days with the Incredible Hulk and Wonder Woman. The IH movies are a mix of pain and fun to watch nowadays. Hope this has more fun.
