@Luffy- i dot think that's Lex's house. I think its the Justice Society head quarters.

I dont like Martian Manhunter's suit at all.

Its just a purple jacket with a red X. At least give us a purple jacket with black leather suit and a red X through it.

Look carefully and you will see the MM's X is part of a double Shoulder holster. Those are pistol butts.

Let me start by saying that I'm not a fan of Smallville at all. With that out of the way, these get-ups they are wearing look terrible to me. Really cheesy. Granted, I know they have budget restraints, but come on. Fate looks terrible and Star Girl looks like that costume came right off the sale rack at Walmart. There...I feel better now. Say what you will.

HOLY CRAP!!! A BLUE LEATHER TRENCHCOAT!?!? Like we weren't expecting that... I'm not too keen on these costumes, but I'm excited because Wesley Dodds is one of my all time favorite characters...which means he will most likely die within five minutes of his introduction.

@Access- I love the idea they have here, just think it could've been better executed. It's fairly obvious that they were trying to stick to the original look (with the exception of Clark and Jonesy), but it just doesn't work for me.

I'm excited about this, but I like smallville ;)

These are just photos taken while shooting. The final product will be edited and effected and it will look less cheesy :)

though I still think Star Girl looks naff...

It would seem that Jones does not really have a costume. It seems that it is equivalent to when clark always wore the blue shirt and red jacket.

@Gunsmith- Did you catch the preview that came out last week? All the lighting and such didn't really help the costumes much.

I just want to mention that oliver points out several times on the show that the costume looks ridiculous. Its just a farmboys poor atempt to make a costume.

Because, honestly, they use leather "something" for everyone on the show. The Legion, Oliver's costume, Clark, Dr. Fate, John Jones, and now "Martian Manhunter's new costume".

Do you guys really want to see a buff green guy in tight blue short pants? It seems there is alot of people complaining about costumes not being close enough to the comic, and then the JSA spot on costumes looking cheesy, just go with it. Watch it and enjoy it, accept that it's not the comic. The comic is printed on paper, this is on your TV. It's like an elseworld story.

agree with AngryRob completely. nobodys ever satisfied. theyre trying and it makes me happy. this sh!te wouldnt fly in our earlier days. we wouldnt be getting a chance to see our favorite comic characters as much as we do. so enjoy the fact that we can. or just dont watch it and shut the f&*k up. or keep complaining, i guess i really dont care that much. but i would like clark to be more traditional sooner rather than later. even if it does look cheesy. thats what most the suits are anyways. but i still love them!

Peterparker@ awesome! I made you a friendship bracelet, it says Peter and Rob BFFs on it!

I for one would prefer to see a variation of the comic costume in live action adaptions. Stuff just doesn't translate from page to screen that well. Not to mention alot of these costumes were designed 50 years ago.

@ angryrob & vitmagic, all iam saying is that they can do better than than, Really a Trench coat that is purple with crossed red suspenders. That is a very cheesy way! For a show like this. Look @ what they did with the Flash Tv series early 90's. Now that is a great costume. No excuses, we exspect better.
