We now have an HD version of the final few seconds of the show. (simply click on the link to head on over to You Tube if it doesn't play. And thanks to some of the users on the Super Hero Hype forums, we also have some screengrabs featuring Clark Kent as Superman.
















Recorded footage from the finale is already showing up on the internet, and while I'm sure we'll see a much better quality versions in the next few hours, here are a few of the first. Needless to say, if you've not seen the episode yet, you might want to turn away now!

Unfortunately, the scene which takes place in The Daily Planet (featuring a few neat little easter eggs) is currently nowhere to be found, but these are all the Superman relevent excerpts from the finale.









Yes, that's really how it ended. As you can probably just about tell, the Smallville finale basically amounted to a tiny CGI Superman and not a single proper look at Tom Welling in the full suit.
