In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Henry Cavill) is a young twenty-something journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond his imagination. Transported years ago to Earth from Krypton, a highly advanced, distant planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question 'Why am I here?' Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Diane Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner), Clark discovers having extraordinary abilities means making difficult decisions. When the world is in dire need of stability, an even greater threat emerges. Clark must become a Man of Steel, to protect the people he loves and shine as the world’s beacon of hope – Superman.

The story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself. Enos plays Gerry’s wife Karen Lane; Kertesz is his comrade in arms, Segen.

In "Frozen," a prophecy traps a kingdom in eternal winter, so Anna must team up with Kristoff, a daring mountain man, on the grandest of journeys to find the Snow Queen and put an end to the icy spell. Encountering Everest-like extremes, mystical creatures and magic at every turn, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom from destruction.

Kick-Ass, Hit Girl and Red Mist return for the follow-up to 2010’s irreverent global hit: Kick-Ass 2. After Kick-Ass’ (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) insane bravery inspires a new wave of self-made masked crusaders, led by the badass Colonel Stars and Stripes (Jim Carrey), our hero joins them on patrol. When these amateur superheroes are hunted down by Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse)—reborn as The Mother F%&*^r—only the blade-wielding Hit Girl (Chloe Grace Moretz) can prevent their annihilation.

Will be seeing Man of Steel for a third time on Friday. Probably again on Sunday, then again next Tuesday.

Go see it multiple times people. Those of us who love the film should spend the money to make sure it does extremely well. Tell WB you want to see more GOOD DC movies with your wallet. If we don't we'll get more of that crap Green Lantern.

Man of Steel was a great film to me this film will go down along with IM3 has the most controversial superhero films period. MOS was a great film and now i look at IM3 differently cause MOS and IM3 are kinda in the same boat Tony and Clark are kinda like damn people bashed are shit, and clark says lol at least we made a shit ton of money like a boss.

Anyhow MOS 2 will be much much better whats good is that Zack Synder heard the complaints and he will fix them now i have this feeling Goyer will be co writing with Jonathon Nolan i think for the sequel. I heard that MOS 2 we will get the Superman we know and love i mean superman was superman for 48 hours give him a break. Superman we know and love will be in MOS2 cause Goyer and Synder heard the complaints.

WB i dont know if they might change directors but Zack is fine he can change visual styles very easily so it wont be a issue MOS 2 will be a little brighter for sure. Matter a fact watching the ending of MOS isnt werid how the color tone changed significatly guys in the last shot of him has clark kent MOS 2 will be the superman we know and love for sure guys.

MOS will be considered a superhero classic the first film to actually do something different with a comic book character. Anyhow seriously the color tone of the ending in MOS changed drastically if you look cause it was a very muted color tone, then when Superman becoes clark kent thats when we see the tone complelty change to bright this i think was Zack visually telling us that MOS 2 will be light hearted and Jimmy Olsen didnt appear yet so its understandable why the humor wasnt there in MOS

I like MOS for what it was the only problem I had was the back and forth from past to present instead of just showing the past all in one and i'm still not sold on Henry delivery there were a few lines that just sounded terrible coming out of his month and the CGI in the fight scenes were bad.

Everything on Krypton was great I actually wanted more, and I loved the fact that we only scratched the surface of Superman powers, the message from Jor-El about "keep testing your abilities" stuck in my head and I realised after seeing it for a second time that he didn't break the sound barrier until the end of the film.

3.5/5 Nice film cant wait to see what they do with MOS2 and what the hell Metropolis is gonna be like because that places is fu*ked, wouldn't shock me if that's what Lex would use to make superman out to be a danger to them all.

@ALmight He isn't going to kill in the second one. Snyder has said THIS even was what causes Superman to not kill.

@SnapperCarr Jenny isn't an Olsen. Her surname is different. She doesn't die either.

Tell me hardcore fans.

If they are to make a Justice League movie. If something like the New York invasion in the Avengers happened, how the hell are Batman and Superman going to fend off the ennemies if they are afraid to kill ?

DoubleD - lol buddy, does it really matter? Marvel is a money making machine, plain and simple. They have a lot of great movies coming for us all to enjoy. MOS is ground zero for the DCCU, just like Iron Man I was. I am very interested in seeing what happens when they do eventually put a Justice League movie on the big screen as it pertains to the box office. That film, besides a Batman / Superman movie, will probably shatter records. I will be avoiding these posts when that time comes. Going to be a lot of Marvel vs DC flaming going on. LOL life is too damn short to spend reading that crap. :-)

@ pud333

In one of the deleted scene in the Avengers that Whedon cut it shows that the Chitari where rounding up people in offices buidling and throughing engery gernades to mass kill them. They only showed when cap came in and fought them and stop themn from throwing it in the offical cut. In the deleted scene it lets you know that the burnt asses they the people where sanding on were other people that where killed before.

Umm, According to Amadeus Cho, The Hulk killed no one-directly or indirectly- during World War Hulk. Part of his smug justice was that he could come down and whoop ass on the Illuminati and not kill a single person. Leaving them in a pile of shame and bruises.
