@ncreb- Don't worry man. He'll fight in this movie. He has to. If he were to avoid fighting AGAIN...that would make Superman the ultimate douchebag of CBM heroes.

I just don't see how it'd be possible for him to avoid throwing a punch in 2 movies. :)

He will definitely fight.

@naterator- Hahahaha i know what you're going for with that picture but it also looks a bit disturbing in a way. lol ;P

@naterator- Hmmm I heard one rumor that his trunks might be "digitize" but that was debunked right away.

Sounded kind of lame anyway as a rumor to begin with.

@cable....considering the costume design.....(dont get me wrong...i like it but i will like it even more if the briefs stay) i wouldnt be surprised if Nolan has left Snyder to his own devices....I hope not tho. I really hope that Snyder can show off in the action and not mess to much with the wardrobe.

@digitized? what the hell does that mean? they appear and disappear whenever?

@naterator- Yeah something like that...the rumor stated that the briefs would be digital so as to disappear when he doesn't need them or something to that effect.

Sounded really lame to me...

^ Hahahaha great to have our lovable grif.

@LP4 ...hmmmm must have been a prank. Im still hoping that if they arent there when he stands up that they have some red down there to neutralize the rest of the suit because the Watchmen outfit is kool but its not quite superman.

@Grif...i agree....i want those 2 minutes back....i could have been doing something productive. heheh

@naterator- yeah, i'm cool with it either way. I mean...yeah the trunks would be nice but meh, I feel kind of...neutral on the whole matter to be honest.

Batman evolved past the trunks so i can see Superman doing that too. Especially from a screenplay by Nolan and Goyer. But the belt will be very interesting, i hear it is designed totally differently. I'm curious about that.

naterator - 8/9/2011, 3:33 PM
@LP4 yeah i hope its not silver...and that it doesnt make him look like a male stripper. Thats kinda the thing tho....why have a belt if theres no shorts?

Snyder is known for putting his level of sexy on his work....please for the love of all thats good regarding Superman....please dont make him look like a male gigalo.

LP4 - 8/9/2011, 3:35 PM
@naterator- Oooooh yeah I know what you're saying. Yeah I've had some thoughts on from what he could barely see of the belt...i mean i just don't want a g-string type of look for the belt, y'know?

That would look a bit too awkward...
naterator
naterator - 8/9/2011, 3:38 PM
and i wouldnt put it past snyder......i hope Nolan has been wise on his supervision of things thus far....i cant imagine him endorsing something that could tarnish his reputation....Superman is a big deal and i think he is well aware of it.

@naterator- I'm certain neither Nolan nor Snyder would want to tarnish Superman's record =D

All those old cars indicate this will be a back in the day scene.
This also obviously takes place in Smallville; Snyder said that Smallville will only be about 15 minutes of the film.

So being in Smallville for only 15 minutes and Clark has to fight a tornado? Sounds good to me! It's not like he had other super-powered beings to fight when he was 15. There will definitely be action throughout this entire film!

YESSSSSSSSSS!!

I wonder what they will be doing for a soundtrack....i really hope that they are sticking with the williams score. Replacing it would be like those carrying on the Starwars copyrights into the future, doing a soundtrack other than what williams did for starwars. Just seems wrong.

@naterator- Haha that's where i have to disagree with you.

Yes the William's theme is iconic BUT it's iconic with the Reeve-films.

This is a new era and a new Superman franchise. The Williams theme has gotta go.

But the briefs I am still neutral on though i really wouldn't mind them being gone either...
