The story will go back to Thor's earlier years, before he ever lifted his mighty hammer. It follows the upstart god's quest for the legendary Lost Sword of Surtur. To help in the search, Thor teams up with his loyal brother Loki, a budding sorcerer with a knack for conjuring up trouble, and the fabled Warriors Three, a band of boastful travelers. But what starts out as a harmless treasure hunt quickly turns deadly, and Thor must now prove himself worthy of his destiny by saving Asgard itself.

Included in the DVD along with the movie is:

Audio commentary with Supervising Producer Craig Kyle and Screenwriter Greg Johnson

Following up the May release of the live-action theatrical feature Thor, Tales of Asgard will be released on May 17, 2011. Packed with special features like audio commentaries with the creators, a "making-of" featurette and a bonus TV episode of The Avengers, Thor: Tales of Asgard will come to Blu-ray combo pack and DVD for the suggested retail prices of $29.99 and $19.98, respectively.

I haven't heard anything about this in ages, its nice to know that its still being released. Looks like its going to deal with young thor it should be cool to see

They announced this thing back in February 2008 and we saw the trailer a year ago.I thought for sure it was dead.

the tv series got shelved because the avengers animated series is doing well, and thor's in spotlight

I don't Mind the young version of all the CB Character's.. But Could we get a Adult or Grown Version Once in awhile... Punisher Animated Movie is what I would like to see....

it doesn't look all that,it would of worked better as a tv show.

planet hulk was good,but hulk vs was f*cking awesome.

good thing this is the last lionsgate-marvel animated film. Then it will be in Disneys hands, for the better

don't know mate,i've got a justice league series 1 all 26 episodes spread over 3 disc's.

then i thought what if marvel done the world war hulk story over 26 episodes because we've already had planet hulk why not continue the story.....hulk vs the marvel universe.
