Thor 2 The Dark World Review

I have just finished watching Thor 2 and I was genuinely pleased with that I have seen. The movie Picks up quick and is very accessible to anyone who has not seen the previous one or has not watched avengers. With out giving away any spoilers Odin gives a back story about the Dark Elves and something called the Aether which is a weapon but it is never fully explained how it works or what it really does all that we know it is powerful and must not be held by the Dark elves. On earth Kat Dennings takes every scene and makes it her own the same way Loki steals the show with his amazing acting skills. But I digress, through A series of coincidences Jane foster is involved in a major way, all the planets are aligning and Malekith has returned but OK I guess that works. On there quest to stop the dark elf lord,Thor in true Thor fashion disobeys his father and has an SO-SO battle at the climax of the movie.Over all it was a well entertaining movie to watch and worth the pay of a movie ticket.I wouldn't listen to most of the notable movie critics, It seems that they are expecting a life changing movie when watching comic book adapted films. I mean this is Thor a viking god who fights Elf's not the [frick]ing Godfather. Here is a break down by numbers.

Acting:10/10
I loved all the actors in this movie. Chris Hemsworth was probably the weakest but that is compared to Idris Elba and Athony Hopkins so I forgive him.Loki was amazing as always,Natalie Portman seems so over this I don't expect to see her in any comic book movie for a while. Kat Dennings and Loki should have there own show or something and Rene Russo did an amazing job.
Story:7/10
Overall The story was decent. It just lacked Proper motivation for the villain and proper explanation for the Aether. But Loki's journey was well developed as well as Thor's relationship.

Effects:10/10
Amazing and weird at the same time.It seemed like the Director tapped in in to his inner Star Trek in scenes involving the Dark Elf's space ship and there weapons to the Asgardian Doctors it was interesting.

X-Factor:8/10
The untangible of the story. It was enjoyable and filled with little complaints.

Easter Eggs:10/10
Yes Yes stay and watch the end and watch the extra one at the conclusion of the credits. For any fan boy this is well worth the wait.
