TWITTER BUZZ: Marvel's New Female THOR

Yesterday the internet exploded with the news that Marvel's current incarnation of the God Of Thunder would be replaced, and a new female character would take up the mantle of Thor. Check out some of the reactions, including Joss Whedon's, who apparently likes Katee Sackhoff for the movie version!

The reactions have mainly been positive, but there's a few (mostly jokey) negative comments, and some feel that -- although they don't have a problem with the character being a woman -- Marvel's motivations might be a bit shady, or that it's just another headline grab from the publisher, and that Thor will be back to his masculine, long flowing blond locked old self in no time anyway. Here's a batch of the best reactions, but be sure to leave your own in the usual place.
