Saw this on friday 1st. Amazing movie. 100 times better than the first one, and gives Avengers a run for its money.

Epic to the last second!

I've seen it three times now..so I must have liked it! But yeah, a few issues aside it's probably my favorite solo Marvel flick next to Iron Man 1.

Critics, stop complaining about Kat. We know she can't act. She's just fun to look at.

Agreed though with the Kat Dennings analysis. She isn't funny, she is never funny, her sitcom is annoying, her voice is annoying. How is she getting work ? who is she tit [frick]ing ? Please Marvel!! fire her!

Nomis, you're right..nobody who's never read a comic should be allowed to watch and enjoy a comic book movie..EVER!

Oh btw Shmoes- Iron Man 3 did further the Marvel Universe. It was more subtle than a stinger scene mid credit slap in the face. Try re-watching it and you basically get the general plot of Avengers 2.

That's the dumbest statement ever. Hopefully comic book movies get people to read comic books if they never have before. That's like saying if you have never served in the military you shouldn't be allowed to play Call of Duty.

I've never murdered fellow teenagers in a dystopian society....guess I shouldn't be allowed to watch The Hunger Games.

I thought it was enjoyable, entertaining for most of the time and better than the first, but it was just "ok". I wouldn't call it great or really memorable, just a standard action flick. At times it felt like a knockoff Star Wars(from certain scenes to designs and planet backdrops, one was ripped straight out of The Forced Unleashed)

Loki, Frigga, Thor and Odin were the best part of the film, the cameo from a certain character was great though as was the ending, but the mid-credits scene was just [frick]ing terrible as was the post credits scene. Malekith, Kurse and Elves needed far more development, they were just, there, and didn't really have any sort of presence in the film. Malekith was just terrible. Same with Sif and The Warriors Three the more interesting characters, but instead time goes towards Darcy, her intern and Jane who are just so damn boring and uninteresting.

Yes but sport is one thing, comics and movies are two separate things...one day maybe you'll learn to separate them in your mind and stop blowing a gasket when character doesn't wear a helmet;)

@DoubleD

To be fair, MoS only got a half-sequel, as they're just merging it with the Batman reboot. Nothing says success like having to inject the highest grossing superhero of alltime into your franchise to keep it afloat.

Noooo wayyyy is this flick coming anywhere clsoe to 1 billion globally. A $500 million take will have Disney dancing in the streets.

NA BO = 225,000,000. Global = 485,000,000

Nomis, the name is gay, but flat ass white chicks "twerking" (ugh) is worse.

When will North American white teenage girls ever learn...

1-10, I hear you, I pretty much enjoy all asses, BUT... or is ir 'butt', if you are packing a flat ass and act like you have something then just please stop. You look horrible.... and Miley gives disgusting faces, agreed.

Why can't she just go back to her younger teen years, with long hair flashing selfies? How can someone reduce their sexual quality at 19? See: MILEY.

It was ok, Loki stole the entire film which literally has too much humor suppressing the would be serious tone of what could have been a better movie. Spectacular but no CBM beats Man of Steel for sheer quality of complete artistic presentation this year.

Maxi, that's pretty much how I felt when walking out of the cinema! Hoenstly I was the happiest with The Dark World more than any other cbm this year. Went in wanting 5 things (mild spoilers, I'm guessing if you're
here you've already seen it or don't care);

1. Thor being more epic! I.e. smarter, more heroic, etc.
2. Malkeith to be a decent villain.
3. Awesome Loki-ness.
4. Someone to die (raises the stakes + drama).
5. More realistic romance between Thor + Jane.

Have to say I think it met all 5 of those points. I'll be honest I usually think much more about these films and I did only see it last night, but right now I'm loving it.

P.S. Gusto love the Batmath
