Details of Wii and 3DS Versions of Transformers: Dark of the Moon!

The exclusive Nintendo versions of the tie-in video game, sub-titled Stealth Force Edition will receive a different treatment from the main console version. Hit the jump to check it out!

It has been two years since Megatron and the evil Decepticons last threatened the world. Earth's leaders believe that Megatron has fled the planet in defeat but Optimus Prime knows better. An alien transmission is intercepted, exposing Megatron's plan to spread chaos among the humans and unleash Shockwave. The Autobots must stop Megatron's plans before it is too late.

The game will feature "Split Screen Multiplayer Wage war" for the Nintendo Wii and you can "play the entire game in Stealth Force and wield the power of high intensity weapons in vehicular combat.



The game will feature 18 Stealth Force missions, Wage War between the Autobots and Decepticons in urban, desert, and frozen locations from Siberia to South American Deserts.

Just like Transformers War for Cybertron, High Moon Studios will be handling the Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony Playstation3 versions while currently unnamed developers will be handing the Nintendo installments.



Activision Publishing will also release a Stealth Force Edition for NIntendo's newly released 3DS handheld.

The publisher will also continue their track record for Nintendo DS platform and will release an Autobot and Decepticon version.

The Wii edition will cost $49.99, the 3DS game will run $39.99, and each DS game will cost $29.99.

The video games are set to be released on June 14, 2011.
