Paramount Home Media Distribution announced Friday that they will be releasing Christopher Nolan's Interstellar, which won an Academy Award for Best Achievement in Visual Effects in 2015, and the first four films in their blockbuster Transformers franchise on premium 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray this holiday season.

Transformers, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Transformers: Dark Of The Moon, and Transformers: Age of Extinction will all become available in stores on December 5 while Interstellar will make its way to the premium format a little later in the month, but still in time for Christmas, on December 19.

Never understood why Interstellar was hated on the way it was. Saw it in IMAX before checking the reviews and was blown away. And then I was blown away again when I saw the tomatometer lol.

Not going to be the same case with Justice League.

FINALLY! Been holding off on getting Interstellar in the hopes of a 4k release, very nearly caved the other day so I'm glad I held out. One of the most visually stunning films I've ever seen so needs the best visual format available, and the fact it's an engaging story with a fantastic cast means I've been really eager to rewatch it.
