This is probably more music news-ish than comic book movie, but I think it's worth reporting that the universally popular rock group, Linkin Park, has been confirmed to be featured in the soundtrack of the much anticipated Transformers finale, Dark Of The Moon. From Movieweb.com:

At the request of director Michael Bay, band Linkin Park has remixed their song 'Iridescent' for use on the upcoming Transformers: Dark of the Moon soundtrack. The single originally appeared on their 2010 effort 'A Thousand Suns'. This particular re-worked edition will serve as the theme for Michael Bay's upcoming summer sequel, and you can listen to the new movie-only version in the video clip below.




Transformers: Dark Of The Moon hits theaters July 1st, later this year!
