TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION Critics TV Spot

Michael Bay's fourth Transformers flick currently sits at 18% on Rotten Tomatoes, but it seems Paramount were still able to scrape together enough positive quotes for this brief critics spot, which also features a few snippets of new footage.

I just got back from watching it for the Midnight run. The movie is super entertaining. An 18%? That's really rough and not justified, wait till some good critics look it over. Optimus Prime first shows up with a iconic version of himself. After you watch Grimlock, Scorn, Strafe, Slug etc it's all smiles. Just as good as Transformers 3, but on a expanded scale and what they leave open for the next movie is pretty exciting.

So I've checked out those critics who they've credited. Where did they dragged out this people from? One is french nobody and the other one is some tramp and i am pretty certain that's not the right one. Holly crap are they getting desperate.

@haduken

Heck it was better than the 3rd one too
Way more screentime for the autobots, I was very surprised about that
Also
Mark > Shia
Humor was tone down, no toilet or sex humor... Thank God and the guy who was going to be the comic relief of the movie, thankfully they killed him off 35 minutes into the movie

@amazing

Let me give u a example how dumb this move is.....

Optimus Prime flies away to space at the end of the movie and that will make u say....... Why didn't he do this earlier?

The running time is really bad for this type of movie

Can someone re-edit this into an 1,40? Because that would make it actually fun, there's a fun movie in here it's just bogged down in mindless action.

I actually loved it. The comedy in it for once was actually funny and the action was nuts. But that's me (die hard TF collector since the late 80's)

The movie was [frick]in bananas. What they're suggesting for the next film is going to be even crazier.

They should have some fun and make a TV spot with the bad review quotes. They are poetically epic and hilarious.

Low RT score? duh Don't all the TF films get that? lol

Gotta see this shit again.

Has there ever been a movie or series that has ever been this reviled by critics, yet so consistently profitable? Maybe some of the more blatant religious moneygrabs like Son of God, but usually critics aren't nearly as negative and they aren't nearly as profitable.

I think Michael Bay has officially broken film criticism as an element of a movie's success. Capitalism is burning. We are all dying. The Universe is a bleak window of pain in a field of nothingness...

Shit blew up. Robots fought. Humans were superfluous (though not as much as usual). Pretty much what I expected. It was a VAST improvement over the last two. Of course, my theatre serves alcohol so that may have helped:)

Just saw it a couple hours ago.... been there, done that. Pretty much same sh*t same smell. The CGI of the liguid metal, or whatever it is, was horrible. I thought TF3 was better, mainly cus this one was obviously made to milk even more crap out of the franchise.

What's especially hilarious is that even the "positive" marked reviews on Rotten Tomatoes tear into it, so clearly standards are already lowered. Were this the quality of the next entry in the Dark Knight or Avengers franchise, it would be sporting a 0%.

People are so biased toward this series, I'm sure they're hating it more than a honest, fair review would.

Besides, who cares what Rotten Tomatoes says? If you want to see it, go see it. If you liked it, good. If you didn't, well, oh well.
