A new trailer for Cartoon Network's upcoming computer animated series Transformers Cyberverse has been released, teasing exciting new episodes premiering this fall. The new series features Bumblebee and his best friend Windblade on a critical mission to save Earth and their friends.

The new trailer comes on the heels of two previously released clips from various episodes in the upcoming season, which revealed that Bumblebee's memories have been erased and that Windblade must help recover them. The trailer seemingly acknowledges that at some point, the two will access his memories and uncover a clue that ultimately leads them both on a mission to save Earth and their friends.

It appears, based on the trailer, that although the mission to save the Autobots and Earth will take place in the present time, the past will play a pivotal role. Check out the new trailer below.

And in a first for any Transformers cartoon, they’re using a NY-based voice cast. (Same deal with G.I. Joe: Sigma Six, the 2003 TMNT, Pokémon, Yu-GI-Oh!, and basically most of the cartoons that aired on the 4Kids! block.)

So this is where they got the animation style for their new Star Wars show.

I genuinely wonder why this franchise has been focusing so much on Bumblebee those past few years, from the movies to the comics or animation. Everyone I know who loved Transformers from my childhood agrees he's the least interesting and most annoying character of the franchise. I understand he's probably the most child-friendly, but still.
