Proving that everyone's favorite robots are still popular, the latest Transformers film, Dark Of The Moon, has made a total of $37 million yesterday in its first full day of release, and is now standing at a total of $42.5 million domestically. Super Hero Hype has the following...

After earning $5.5 million at the 9pm Tuesday night screenings, Transformers: Dark of the Moon added $37 million its first full day of release on Wednesday for a domestic total of $42.5 million.

The opening is quite a bit lower than the $62 million that Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen earned its first day (also a Wednesday) and closer to the first Transformers' $27.9 million it earned its opening day (a Tuesday).


Starring Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whitely, Patrick Dempsey, John Malkovich, and the voices of Peter Cullen and Leonard Nimoy, Transformers: Dark Of The Moon is out now at your local theater!
