Machinima and Hasbro's Transformers: Prime Wars Trilogy is coming to an end with the release of the third and final installment: Transformers: Power of the Primes. The final chapter in the trilogy is set to debut May 1 worldwide and today we received our first trailer for it.

The trailer provides a first look at some of the incredible voice-talent making their debut in Power of the Primes, including Ron Perlman, WWE Superstar Samoa Joe, Mikey Way from the rock band My Chemical Romance, and Jaime King (Star Wars: The Clone Wars). They join returning cast member Mark Hamill, who made his debut as Megatronus in the finale of the second chapter of the trilogy, Transformers: Titans Return. Check out the full trailer below!

After Megatronus eliminates Optimus Prime and claims the Matrix of Leadership and Enigma of Combination for himself, the other Transformers robots look to Megatron to lead the charge against their diabolical foe. Unbeknownst to them, Megatronus’ pursuit of the next ancient artifact, the Requiem Blaster, goes beyond his desire for power and the search will uncover mysterious secrets from Cybertron’s past. Before the TRANSFORMERS: PRIME WARS TRILOGY concludes, a new Prime will ascend and all will bear witness to the true POWER OF THE PRIMES.

Transformers: Power of the Primes will conclude the Prime Wars Trilogy when it launches May 1 worldwide on Verizon’s family of media properties including Tumblr, go90 and select Oath properties – except in China, where it airs on Sohu.com, and Japan.  Power of The Primes will consist of 10 episodes, each approximately 11 minutes in length.

Um, Dinobots combining?!?! This has been a dream for so long, now a reality! YES PLEASE!!! These ashows aren't great but they are far from terrible. As a Transformers fan I would rate the series (I have watched) in the following order, from best to worst:
Transformers Prime
Generation One
Beast Wars
Beast Machines
Robots in Disguise (Prime sequel)
Transformers Prime Wars Trilogy
Transformers Animated
Transformers Armada and Transformers Energon
And honorable mention though not a show The War for and Fall of Cybertron games!

@Dedpool - You ever see the 2001 Robots in Disguise? Or the Japanese late 80’s series?

@FlixMentallo21 - Yes, but wasn't a fan. it had it's merits. Japanese series was fantastic. Their Beast Wars were sick!
