Finally, we get to see our first glimpse of Michael Bay’s Transformers Revenge of the Fallen teaser trailer, to appear shortly after the start of the 3rd quarter of the Super Bowl. If you are not into watching the biggest game of the year then you can also catch the premier of the trailer by going to see Friday the 13th in theaters Friday January 30th. According to Michael Bay we won’t be getting the heaviest dose of the footage. Mr. Bay prefers to keep the best parts to the movie itself. Bay Sts “The Super Bowl spot is coming Sunday in the third Quarter (few minutes into the quarter slot). The spot will be online a few minutes after that - The full length teaser trailer will only be on Friday the Thirteenth. It will not hit the internet until a week later. The Teaser really only teases stuff - I'm holding so much stuff back from the final trailers because I personally hate going to movies where you have seen it all."
I totally agree, I don’t know how many movies I have gone to see at the theater excited going in but as I walk out saying “I didn’t need to see this film at all; the best parts were already in the trailer.” Bravo to Michael Bay for not letting that be the case for this highly anticipated film.
Again the full length trailer will NOT be available online for one week after the trailer premiers with Friday the 13th. Although I do not agree with this strategy this is almost certainly a ploy to get all you internet junkies off the couch and out into the theaters. The TV spot that airs on Super bowl Sunday will be available online shortly after it airs Sunday night.
Hopefully with any luck we might be able to catch a glimpse of the incredibly beautiful Megan Fox. They should also throw some footage in there of Optimus Prime in action and Bumble Bee speaking. June is looking better already.
