A new trailer for Rick and Morty has been released, and you'd best believe that there's plenty of crazy new footage from the series here. Picking up where the last sneak peek left off, this preview doubles down on the pop culture references along with heaps of funny gags and downright bonkers visuals.

A show unlike anything else on television, Rick and Morty has taken off in an unprecedented way since debuting back in 2013. An additional 70 episodes were ordered back in 2018, and that means there are still 50 left to go after this next season airs...with that in mind, we're not expecting to see too much more of President Morty, though the mythology will no doubt continue to deepen here.

Back in March, Adult Swim announced that season five of Rick and Morty will premiere on Sunday, June 20th at 11pm ET/PT. It was also announced that June 20th will be "Rick and Morty Day," a full 24-hour celebration of the show which will see the release of new behind-the-scenes footage, previews of what's to come, and other "special surprises" on TV and across Adult Swim's social media platforms.

Rick and Morty co-creator Justin Roiland voices the two title characters, Sarah Chalke plays Beth, Chris Parnell stars as Jerry, and Spencer Grammer voices Summer. Based on the past few years, don't be surprised if this upcoming fifth season features plenty of A-List guest stars as well.

It's damn near impossible to describe what makes this show SO good! Love seeing the family together on adventures!

@xfan320 - good plots, sensible dialogue rooted in absurdly creative situations. Hilarious outcomes. I've been watching American Dad again. I see how underrated it was every episode. These two are on par. Would've made an epic crossover. Penny, penny.

Good to know Jessica will have some sort of role to play in this Season, I feel like she's used at least twice in each Season!
