With The Boys season 3 right around the corner, Vought Industries (Prime Video) has debuted the first trailer for Dawn of the Seven, the massive blockbuster superhero movie we saw Homelander and his reluctant teammates shooting over the course of the last season.
Clearly parodying Justice League (the film is even referred to as "The Bourke Cut"), the teaser sees the world's greatest supe-group join forces to take on Stormfront, who Homelander must now do his best to distance himself from following the events of the season 2 finale.
We don't actually see who's playing the "Nazi bitch," and we won't be spoiling it here. Let's just say it is someone you'll recognize!
Check out the parody trailer below, and be sure to drop back soon for our review of The Boys season 3.
Season 2 of The Boys ended with the death of Butcher's wife and the apparent disbanding of the team. We know they will reunite, however, most likely in attempt to bring down the increasingly psychotic Homelander. Queen Maeve was able to blackmail her rage-fuelled leader into backing off in the finale, but actor Anthony Starr has already confirmed that he will really let loose in Season 3.
It's also been confirmed that the highly controversial Herogasm comic book arc will be adapted, and showrunner Eric Kripke has hinted that the episode will be every bit as depraved as the comic.
Season 3 of The Boys is set to premiere on June 3.
