Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles) finally made his presence felt in the closing moments of The Boys episode 4, but before Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) and the gang inadvertently unleashed the powerful Supe on the world, we got a brief glimpse of the character performing on real-life '80s variety show Solid Gold.
During a flashback to MM's (Laz Alonso) childhood, we see his father watching TV as Soldier Boy belts out a stilted, rather dreadful rendition of Blondie's "Rapture," and Prime Video has now shared the full version of the song.
Soldier Boy is an arrogant, highly volatile misanthrope, but this hilarious clip does a great job in highlighting the ridiculous nature of the ultra-patriotic(?) Supe.
Blondie's legendary lead singer, Debbie Harry, responded to the clip with the following Tweet.
We won't reveal any specific details about Soldier Boy's involvement in the rest of the season, but you can check out our (mostly) spoiler-free review for a better idea of what to expect.
