Last we saw Jesse Cuter, he was high-tailing it out of Annville, Texas with his two best friends, Tulip & Cassidy, in tow and in a few short months, we'll get to find out what kind of trouble the triumvirate gets into next.

During tonight's season seven finale of The Walking Dead, co-creator Seth Rogen released the first trailer for the eagerly awaited second season of Preacher, teasing a very fun road trip with the three before it gets right into the good stuff, including the return of Eugene!

Also, it appears as though, AMC has pushed back the premiere by a week, moving from June 19 to Sunday, June 25.

@AdamWarlockHim - @NoMeaning45 - No doubt, he should've retired against Brock Lesnar. I liked tonight's match, I just feel depressed. Hugh Jackman is done as Logan, Mark Callaway is done as the Undertaker. My childhood heroes are dead. It's a weird feeling, I'll feel better in the morning.

@Yaf - I hope they do something for the Deadman on Raw tomorrow. He's my all time favorite and in my opinion, the greatest of all time.

So, when is AMC or HBO going to acquire the rights to adapt the Witcher books? I'm reading them right now and one of the short stories just hit me like a freight train.

@Spock0Clock - Ooh I love Witcher. Which short story was it? Was it the one with Essi?

@Spock0Clock - That needs to be on HBO. As much as I love AMC, HBO would be able to get closer to the source and it can be their new GoT, maybe even better.

It's frustrating. I want to read the series, especially after seeing the crazy in this trailer. But, at the same time, I don't want my love of this show to be diminished, or to find myself going "Oh, I have a feeling I know what's about to happen here", like I do with The Walking Dead, which is still awesome to see coming to life. But, at the same time, takes a little mystery out of it. Idk. Lol.

@AMrSundayGirl58 - I went through that with Game of Thrones. My advice is to watch the series as it comes, then (if you're so inclined) read the comic.

I've read the first issue of the Preacher and it's very different than the show counterpart in several drastic ways, mostly pacing and characterization. The comic just lays out plot points very matter-of-factly while the show drags out the mystery. It's a matter of taste which is better (I liked the show a lot more), but I can't speak to the comic after that first issue, though. And they stretched that first issue out over pretty much the entire first season of the show.

Never finished the first season. Not because I didn't enjoy it because I did, but ran out of time and lost track of it. Did it end up being really good or just meh?
RagnarGolem
RagnarGolem - 4/3/2017, 3:09 AM
I love the comics series. But I didn't like the first season so much... :/
Spock0Clock
Spock0Clock - 4/3/2017, 3:16 AM
I really need to work out... or I could microwave a pizza and eat it with two hands...

...maybe I'll just stretch for twenty minutes and have a bowl of cereal. That seems like the least extreme option here....
