Morgan Jones has traveled a long and treacherous road in The Walking Dead, and next month, his journey will take him to meet Madison Clark and company in Fear the Walking Dead.

AMC has released this season 4 promo video putting the spotlight on Morgan's journey thus far, as he struggles to retain his humanity in a world where that is almost completely a thing of the past.

The fourth season of the Walking Dead spinoff series sees the return of its top-billed survivors, including Kim Dickens’ Madison Clark, Frank Dillane’s Nick Clark, Alycia Debnam-Carey’s Alicia Clark, and Colman Domingo’s Victor Strand, joined by Morgan from the original series.

Fear showrunner Scott M. Gimple confirmed Morgan’s crossover in an episode of AMC’s “Talking Dead” that aired in November. James’ character plays alongside the Clark family protagonists as they continue to deal with the ups and downs of their dysfunctional family against the backdrop of the Walking Dead universe’s zombie outbreak.

“Morgan’s arc on The Walking Dead Season 8 positioned him for the story on Fear,” Gimple said. “It was also important to see Fear’s world and characters through new yet familiar eyes.”

Season 4 of Fear the Walking Dead will premiere April 15 on AMC.

Walking Dead has become so unbearably boring, I'm hoping this is a major leap in quality.

Fear is a step in the right direction compared to TWD. I was surprised how much I LOVED this show; even more than TWD itself. I stopped watching TWD after season 6 or so. But Fear has done nothing but improved.

I loved Twd but it is such an afterthought now. I can’t belive the drop off this show has seen over the past couple of years.

I m a little worried with Scott gimple being the head of fear the walking dead. It's been good so far but I can't stand his style

Here's hoping he elevates the show somewhat.
