Robert Kirkman said the show is a great way for him to do things differently & see how things could've been. It's not like show ruined it. If they did it exactly like the comes I'd never feel suspense. Probably wouldn't even watch since there would be no reason to. Anyways the show & comics are meant to be enjoyed, not compared. That's just an unfortunate inevitability. If you like the comics then I think you should watch the show for the new spin & stop expecting them to do anything that happens in the comic. I mean sure they'll do some things. Just don't get your hopes up for it. It's good regardless. Great story, not as much action as I want sometimes, but it's definitely not boring at all haha

from just reading the Wikipedia summary of the comics I have to say I think the show is much better than what I read there. These storylines are much more interesting to me.

I'm trying hard to like the show because of my love for the comics but after this season I don't think I will be watching any more. It's an over rated boring show... What burns me the most was that this season started so great but after the mid season break its turned back into shit season 2 !

Btw I know everybody brings up how the show shouldn't be compared to the comic. Why name the show exactly as the comic when especially at this point their two different entities ? It's rediculous selling me tofu and calling it meat!... Game of thrones !!! Faithful to the source material !!! And the best show on television learn Kirkman!!

Game of Thrones did follow the source material. Wont be doing that for season 3. Did you see the end of season 2? I don't remember the final scene in the books.

Hmmmm, I don't remember Sam getting lost and hiding behind a rock, bearing witness to an army of White Walkers. That was not in the prologue to book three. Doesn't seem very minor to me.

@wrez the attack on the frost fangs is there read it again... Getting back to the topic my issue with the walking dead is the poor character arcs. Rick being crazy for more than one episode seemed stupid and I'm sure everybody agrees Andrea being this seasons Lori. I put on the writers who don't seem to able to write strong woman characters!
