Hmmm.... not sure how I feel about this. I feel like there's going to be a lot of poorly timed humor. Not that there hasn't been any before, but it looks like there'll me more.

@Nick56 - Because the BBC has to be 'diverse' and equal at all times...

I bet this 'urban' companion is bi sexual too or something trans. (I'm only half joking)

Notice that they always have everyone represented from women to races and creeds, shoehorned in just to be equal to all..it's too obvious and takes you out of most stories with bad actors and characters.

Get rid of little miss moffat and give us less PC everything and some damn good adventurous stories that are well written.

The whole show has been stale for years now. They need some big changes and to go back to some smaller stories too, instead of every series having to be the biggest and baddest villains end of the universe every series. And no more Daleks, cybermen etc.

Rant over.

Looks pretty great! Can't wait to see more of her interactions with the Doctor. That is essentially what makes the show. But she has a lot of potential, especially since Jenna Coleman is one of the most hated companions of the New Series. I personally didn't mind her but I could see why so many people dislike her. I just wish we didn't have to go a whole year without the Doctor on TV (except for Christmas of course!)

Remember season 10 is the last for moffat. The new guy takes over in 2017 filming for 2018.
