Disney+ recently launched in the UK, and unlike its US counterpart, it includes movies like X-Men: Days of Future Past and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Now, it appears as if Disney is looking to add more Fox properties to the streaming service in both countries, as some users have reportedly been receiving questionnaires about certain TV shows.
Surprisingly, among them are Joss Whedon's Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the cult classic hit Firefly!
According to Twitter user @Griddlemarks, this survey asked if users of Disney+ would be interested in watching these TV shows on the streaming service.
Firefly ran from 2002 - 2003, and the outcry following its cancellation meant we eventually got a big screen sequel in the form of Serenity. Buffy the Vampire Slayer, meanwhile, was a hit and ran for seven seasons (it also spawned a popular spinoff with Angel).
The same survey asked if the likes of Modern Family and How I Met Your Mother would also be of interest, so Disney is clearly hoping to bring a number of Fox favourites to this service. That will obviously increase interest in a big way, as it's vital with a streaming service like this to continue adding both archive content and new TV shows and movies.
The latter could be a struggle right now, though, especially with Hollywood productions on pause.
Would you guys watch these shows on Disney+?
