We're now just weeks away from the return of everyone's favorite misfit super-team, and HBO Max has debuted a new trailer and poster for the fourth season of Doom Patrol.

This latest teaser for the show gives us a better idea of what to expect, as Mark Sheppard's Willoughby Kipling warns the team of the imminent arrival of a potentially world-ending threat known as Immortus (Doom Patrol comic book villain General Immortus, presumably).

From there, we get glimpses of some typically chaotic and surreal scenes, new characters Codpiece and Casey Brinke, AKA Space Case, and the returning Were-Butts!

Check out the trailer below along with a new poster, and let us know if you plan on tuning in for more Doom Patrol next month.

The official synopsis tells is that: “Season 4 opens with the team unexpectedly travelling to the future to find an unwelcome surprise. Faced with their imminent demise, the Doom Patrol must decide once and for all which is more important: their own happiness or the fate of the world?”

Season 4 of Doom Patrol will see the return of Brendan Fraser as Cliff Steele (aka Robotman), Matt Bomer as Larry Trainor (aka Negative Man), Diane Guerrero as “Crazy Jane,” April Bowlby as Rita Farr (aka Elasti-Woman), Joivan Wade as Victor “Vic” Stone (aka Cyborg), and Michelle Gomez as Laura de Mille (aka Madame Rouge).

The show will premiere with two episodes on December 8, with a single instalment following every Thursday through Jan. 5. Six additional episodes will be released sometime in 2023.

Mostly watching for Rita and her powers now that she seems to have a grip on them. Kinda tired of the killer butts thing now tho. Show misses Mr. Nobody.

I must admit I watch this.

It was one of my favorite comics in the 60s. It is sometimes great, sometimes sickening, sometimes far too ridiculous. People think misfits must be deviant perverts, though I am sure this is not true. It is sooo many different things.

I sometimes love it, usually like it, though it sickens me occasionally.

But I always watch it. But then again, I'm pretty sure I'm completely nuts.

I fell off after season two. I need to catch up. Although the consensus seems to be that the beginning of the series was better, I love the Fraser!
