DOOM PATROL Trailer Gives Us A First Glimpse Of Alan Tudyk As The Villainous Mr. Nobody

DC Universe has finally released a teaser trailer for next week's Doom Patrol series premiere, and while it's a little on the short side, it does give us a first look at the misfit superheroes in action...

Doom Patrol is set to premiere on DC Universe on February 15, and the streaming network has finally debuted a promo... all 30 seconds of it.

Maybe we will get a more substantial trailer for the show before next week, but for now this footage does give fans a glimpse of the titular team of outcast heroes in action, along with a first look at the villainous Mr. Nobody (Alan Tudyk), who appears to be a fairly faithful take on the character's comic book counterpart.

Check out the spot below and let us know what you think. Doom Patrol stars April Bowlby as Rita Farr/Elasti-Woman, Brendan Fraser and Riley Shanahan as Clifford "Cliff" Steele/Robotman, Matt Bomer as Larry Trainor/Negative Man, Joivan Wade as Victor Stone/Cyborg, Diane Guerrero as Kay Challis/Crazy Jane, and Timothy Dalton as Dr. Niles Caulder/The Chief.

Huh, pretty pleasantly surprised. Seems like they really nailed the tone, and the VFX actually seem pretty serviceable especially considering it's on TV.

Anyone who has seen Titan's episode 4 - Doom Patrol, what was your reaction?

I never knew who the Doom Patrol were until articles came out, but in the TV Show they were really charming. It reminded me of the Adams Family or Beetle Juice.

@mastakilla39 - it was a fun group of characters moving away from the much too serious Titans group. Honestly they acted more Teen Titans than the actual Titans, which will probably make this show.more favorable.

VFX are very shaky (the Cyborg shield looks wonky and his helmet piece too; he just looks out of place on this team). I like the tone but the humor could def be hit or miss for some.

Alan looks great. It definitely looks more interesting than Titans. They're embracing the wackiness and I like it.

After the great job they did with Titans, I trust these guys. I have a feeling this will be as unique as the DP comics.
