The Warrior of Two Worlds will be making his way to Krypton for SyFy's upcoming Superman prequel series.

According to Deadline, Shaun Sipos (The Vampire Diaries, Final Destination 3, Rampage) has joined the cast as Adam Strange, who was announced as one of the show's many new characters at this year's San Diego Comic-Con.

This small-screen take on the DC hero is described as, "a world-weary human, who finds himself stranded on Krypton as the unlikely mentor to Seg-El, Superman’s grandfather." From the sounds of that, Krypton is going to replace Rann as the planet that Strange is teleported to via Zeta Beam in the comics.

Krypton is set to premiere sometime in 2018. You can check out the most recent teaser right HERE.

Being that I've always been a fan of Superman, I want this to work but when I hear things like this I'm like,

Should've used Jor-El as the main character.

This does not need to be made... I'll give it a chance but my tastebuds have been ruined after Gotham.

Obviously, he and Hawkgirl have gone back in time to prevent the terminator-esque death of Superman's ancestors. We've been over this people! C'mon!

"It's a show that, although it takes place centuries ago on Krypton about the House of El, it's about a conspiracy from the present that has traveled back in time to Krypton to prevent Superman's legacy from ever happening," Johns announced.

In addition, Johns also confirmed that we'll be seeing classic Superman foes Brainiac and Doomsday on the show, along with Adam Strange and Hawkwoman, who will be making the trip to Krypton to stop the plot against his life. "Adam Strange and Hawkwoman come to Krypton trying to stop the conspiracy and save Superman's legacy," Johns said. "Doomsday will be in the show. Brainiac is long overdue to be on screen like that."

Some facts about Krypton:

-They had a rigid family caste system
-Krypton had three major city-states: Argo, Kandor, and Kryptonopolis
-Kryptonians only lived on one of the several continents on the planet. The other continents were jungles filled with horrific monsters.
-Kryptons grew clones for use as organ donors. There would eventually be a clone rebellion known as the "Black Zero" war.
-Tomar-Re was the green lantern of their sector. Kryptonians were isolationist and refused aid in any situation from the Green Lanterns
-Krypton had its own Superhero who called himself Nightwing.
- In some realities Brainiac was a Kryptonian computer program
-Doomsday comes from the jungles of ancient Krypton

@noahthegrand - Can't get more comicbooky than this.
Some of the stuff reminds me of all those New Krypton comics back in 2009, everything started with Braniac by Geoff and Frank.

Shit if they manage to add the LOSH this could be freaking amazing.
