On Thursday January 21, The CW kicks off a new night of action and adventure with the highly-anticipated series premiere of DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW. When heroes alone are not enough… the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat – one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself.

@Jollem figure that was directed at me. Actually excited for the show, just pointing out few people are excited for this even though it looks great. Most of the other people I see who are excited uses that excitement to hate on Marvel.

I hope this show does well. The only thing that worries me is that it looks like we're gonna have no less than 8 or 9 main characters. from what i can see rip hunter is essentially the "nick fury" of the team. Is he gonna be the focal point? managing screen time for that many characters and keeping us invested in all of them is gonna be a huge juggling act.

Yeah, I thought it was really funny when the casting was announced and we learned more about the show. He looks pretty cool in the role. :)
