When Vandal Savage (guest star Casper Crump) retreats behind the Iron Curtain in the early 1980s, a string of nuclear scientists begins to mysteriously disappear. The team follows Vandal’s trail straight into the heart of the Soviet Union in an attempt to find his next target. Ray (Brandon Routh) tries to bond with a beautiful Soviet scientist, Valentina Vostock (guest star Stephanie Corneliussen), in the hopes of finding out Vandal's next move. When Valentina rejects him, it’s Snart (Wentworth Miller) to the rescue. Stein (Victor Garber) pushes Jax (Franz Drameh) to be better, which frustrates Jax and ultimately threatens the Firestorm matrix. Rip (Arthur Darvill) asks Sara (Caity Lotz) to train Kendra (Ciara Renée). Antonio Negret directed the episode written by Sarah Nicole Jones & Phil Klemmer.

@Baf - That was corny as [frick]. And like @Scorpo said, there's no "a" in from of either of them

@AgentZero it wasn't corny, it was just kinda dumb for him to say it so blatantly.

Besides, it wasn't dumb. It was great. Fans have been begging to have the CW recognize the undisputed two most recognizable and iconic comic characters of all time

I'm enjoying this show. It's a little silly, but really fun.

Captain Cold, Heatwave and Canary again as the highlights.
Brandon Routh is so likeable in his role, the little "Innerspace"/"Fantastic Voyage" sequence was pretty cool.
also, calling it now, Palmer and Stein: DC's Science Bros.

and Rip f*cked up in this episode, hard.

Bout time they let Atom be Atom. Awesome scene.

For me Legends has been better than both Arrow and Flash this season. Arrow was good the other night, yet for whatever reason they couldn't find a way for Roy to be a superhero still. If the public could believe the Green Arrow could be inspired by Arrow, I see no reason Roy couldn't have been Red Arrow in another city.

Back on the subject of Legends, I really have been enjoying Captain Cold and Heatwave. Tonight's episode it was great to see Atom being Atom, the only problem I had was the helmet should have covered his whole face. Because you can't breath underwater and I doubt breathing in blood would be better. So that was the only problem I had with it, so if that's the only problem I guess Legends is doing well.

Blue Steel by White Canary is getting harder to look at.
