Season 1 of Legends of Tomorrow had a few surprises of it's sleeve. One of them being the inclusion of Westerner Jonah Hex (portrayed by Johnathon Schaech). In his premiere episode, "The Magnificent Eight" it's revealed that Hex and Rip Hunter have somewhat of a history. Johnathon Schaech revealed on Twitter that he'll be returning in Season 2 of the series, specifically in an episode titled "Outlaw Country". The episode was written by Matthew Maala and Chris Fedak with Cherie Nowlan set to direct.
