LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Season 1, Episode 16 Promo; "Legendary" - Finale

Legends of Tomorrow has been better than anyone expected, and it's clearly a series which The CW has spent a fair bit of money on (just think back to that giant Atom battle a few weeks ago). With season two already confirmed, it's clear that the network has big plans for these characters moving forward, but we've got to get through the finale before we start thinking about that. Here's a sneak peek!

After the numerous sacrifices the team has made since the beginning of this ride, Rip (Arthur Darvill) decides that it’s time they each decide their own destiny and returns them to Central City a few months after they first left. Returned to their normal lives, each team member must individually decide if they are willing to sacrifice everything in order to save the world. Meanwhile, Sara (Caity Lotz) visits with her father (guest star Paul Blackthorne) who delivers some heartbreaking news about her sister. Dermott Downs directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Chris Fedak and teleplay by Phil Klemmer & Marc Guggenheim.

@jerryblake - I don't get people's love for the show. It was really watered down and there is no grey area with the character. Actor was underwhelming.

Really tuned in for Zed's fan service and to see Spectre and other JLD members.

@Nightmare - i'm can't speak for everybody. imo even if some episodes of the show did not deliver it had great potential. with better writing it could end up being hit. sadly we will never know. 13 episodes ? this is a joke.

"Actor was underwhelming" ?

i'm not sure you will see JLD anytime soon mate.

@jerryblake - Yea he was. Only have Keanu to compare him to, but he wasn't the same from Hellblazer. Putting him on Arrow proved it.

Show should have been on AMC or HBO. JLD will happen. I think they're waiting on JL & SS success first.

Here's hoping season 2 attempts to improve on its overall theme and story, because man... I like the show when it comes to celebrating the larger Arrowverse, but I can't stand anymore of "We have to kill Savage, and this is OUR LAST CHANCE!!!" Like... Rip. Your family is dead. The future is unwritten. There's a alien invasion coming.

@WinterOstritch - Right. I assume season 2 will deal with the Thanagarian invasion. And with it, more backstory for the Hawks, hopefully. One of my big disappointments about this show has been the lack of Hawkman, and lackluster Hawkgirl. A couple of my favorite characters from the comics.
