I am the biggest DC fan of all time. Seriously a DC freak. I love Flash, I love Legends of Tomorrow ok?

But the CW Ra's and the CW Vandal Savage are [frick]ing horrible.

Not just because of the writing.

The acting is incredibly shitty. Especially Vandal Savage. He is a shit [frick]ing actor. He ruins LOT. He's [frick]ing unbelievably horrible, I hate to admit it. He's just. [frick]. He's bad. Casper Crump ruined the first live action portrayal of that character. With a good actor, it could've been a good character.

The writing for Ra's is the biggest weakness. He could be OK with good writing. Shit, he just sucks tho regardless.

The two biggest villains in that universe are plagued by SHIT writing and even shittier acting. It's a shame. I can't wait to see less of those characters.

It's so weird cuz the heroes are pretty well acted. And many of the villains are as well. But those two. [frick]!!!!! iT's absolute shit, I hate watching them.

Casper Crump is literally one of the worst actors, he should not be employed.

I hate being so mean. I really do. He's trying , but god. Stop ruining a great character. I have to be objective here. I am not a fan.

@RichardGrayson - in all fairness the shitty writing is much worse than the shitty acting

Is Chronos a version of Mick Rory? That would certainly explain why he doesn't seem very smart or effective and we know Captain Cold didn't kill him.

Glad they were able to put in anti black and anti gay story from way back in the day; so glad we've evolved into such a better understanding society:)

Ah. Good to know 3 members of the team got left in the past. I hate learning plot details as the story unfolds.

Ugh, horrible horrible episode tonight...

Apparently every depiction of the 50's must now include a ham-fisted preachy PC sermon scolding people who think that 2 men or 2 women trying to mash their privates together isn't just the greatest thing ever.

Well I say it's not great at all. It made me sick, and I don't apologize for it. Guess what kids? TV isn't some final authority on how we must think. You want to call me this or that label? Go ahead, I really don't care. I'm done being told I must keep silent.

Solid episode based solely on the fact that they agnoliged the race and anti gay stuff in the 50s. Still no a big fan of Savage but everyone else was solid.

They were able to tell a good story with the 1950s, racism, Sexism etc. I do wish they would show off Vandals skills more I feel like each time he shows up he's just too easily defeated. I mean he's suppose to be a tactical genius not a thug with a lust for hawkgirl. But otherwise very good episode and Snart is always a joy.

Also just because a show has characters in that react in a realistic manner to a racist era doesn't make it PC bullshit. Seriously that was the whole point of the narrative to show how shitty the 50s was to people of color and gays, people like to romanticize era's like the 50s,60s,70s like it was some type of golden age of peace when it wasn't like that all.

If they had done the opposite and had the characters all agree with what was going on the 50s I would have called bullshit on that ASAP. Even with fictional characters you need to make the audience members relate to what is happening and not all of the subject matters will be toned down just to appease soccer moms and other conservatives.

It's funny cause people are totally fine with violence, rape and other shit on tv but the moment you do something like this episode then it's somehow offensive.

I love that this episode chose to address the serious racial, gender & sexual prejudices of the 50s when they could’ve easily just had a fun episode with them all happy & bopping around town like they’re in Grease or some shit.

@Ghostpointzero - I'm glad somebody gets it. That's why I asked @Zappy If he grew up in the 50's, cause I did. And, I can tell you that was the way it was. Like it, or not. If it made Zappy "sick", I suggest he quit watching shows that call it like it is, and stick to "The 700 Club".

So I guess they have a time machine that cannot go back in time to the point that they left them behind. How are they called the time masters?

I don't get this show sometimes... Its good and then it has stupid moments...
