Following their trip to Feudal Japan, the Legend of Tomorrow will find themselves fighting in the 1863 Civil War against an army of undead Confederate soldiers. Check out stills from "Abomination".

The CW has released a batch of promotional images for the upcoming forth installment of Legends of Tomorrow season 2, and they give is a look at some of the characters dressed in Civil War-era garb.

It seems Firestorm, Vixen and White Canary are going to have their hands full dealing with a bunch of Confederate zombies (don't ask me, man, I just work here), while elswhere, The Atom questions his usefulness to the team.

“Abominations” — (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, DLV) (HDTV)

SURVIVAL — When the Legends discover a time Aberration in 1863, they find themselves fighting for survival during the Civil War with Confederate soldiers who have been turned into zombies. With the Civil War outcome hanging in the balance, Jax (Franz Drameh) must participate in a daring mission by going to a slave plantation with Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers). Meanwhile, Sara (Caity Lotz) begins to feel the burden of the decisions she has to make as the leader, and Ray (Brandon Routh) struggles to find his purpose on the team.

An all-new episode of Legends of Tomorrow airs this Thursday night on The CW.

I saw Free State of Jones.Very good movie that came out last summer.Should have been released this time
of year as Oscar bait.Reminded me of a Civil War era Braveheart.

I hope the Civil War-era costumes are more historically accurate than the German army uniforms they used in the last episodes. Those were cheap knock-offs and they looked horrible.

It looks like they are using re enactors who bring their own uniforms.There are tons of Civil War
re enactor societies across the US and even Canada and they travel well.

They are a cheap means for Hollywood T.V. and films to get extras.Only draw back is that while
their uniforms are mostly legit,the majority of the re enactors are middle aged and over weight.

@WarnerBrother - That's right. I'm a WWII history buff so the German SS and Wermacht uniforms were embarrassing. I suppose they could have found reenactors near Vancouver but obviously the production team chose not to get the word out.
